Green Lane

Well… I was home with the kids today and wanted to do something special. I really wanted to go to the beach but since he is still in a cast, that knocked that out. So, I packed lunch for us and took the kids to a surprise picnic lunch at Green Lane. We had a lot of great quality time together, just walking and having fun. I was also able to snap some great moments too! Honestly, Dominic being the loving boy he is, kissed his lil sis on his own! No prompting from Daddy! LOVE IT!!!

It’s Me Birthday…. THE BIG 36!!!

Wow. I am 36 now. Staring down the barrel @ 40! Well… Happy Birthday to Me anyways!

Nothing really special to write about. It’s been a long week but I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I do…! I thank HIM for the gift HE has given me!

Truly Blessed!

Last night, I shot a client’s 3 kids, ages 6, 3 and 3 months. After the sitting, I had the client thank me immensely for being patient with her 3 year old son who was normally very active and hard to photograph. She said she couldn’t believe I was able to reach him like I did. Later, when I sat them down to show the images, she was in disbelief of the images I captured of Daniel. I gently informed her that I have an active son at home, myself, who gives me lots of practice.

Lately, I have been hitting my stride with the children I shoot and really connecting with them to get the best possible images. It is so fulfilling and gratifying! I have to truly thank GOD first and foremost. But I owe a lot of what I can and am doing to my son. As I often have said, he has taught me patience and understanding like I would have never known. I think it’s because of this and the passion that I have developed for children in general that I am able to reach and capture my clients’ children the way I do.

For this, I am truly blessed!!!
