Depression Series – “Models” needed

Depression comes in many sizes and shapes. Everyone experiences depression differently. It’s a very real and very scary disease.

Depression has many faces. We want to capture many of those faces in a photo series. We want to create images that depict the varying feelings and experiences – everything from suicidal and withdrawn to naked and alone. Those who self harm too!

So we will need faces (and some bodies) to come to our Lansdowne studio to help us realize our vision for this project.

Images will be posted online and perhaps in print. So, if you have your own personal experience with depression and want to participate, please email us at brian@brianmengini.com and put depression in the subject line.

Thanks!!

I’d love to be a part if this series. I used to cut in high school, battled with alcohol, and went down some dark roads.

This is a great idea and piece to work on. I think many have had depression and sometimes it just keeps coming and going and you forget what is “not depression”
